Original Stacking Bookcase by Globe -Wernicke 4 sections + top and base
Antique stacking bookcase circa 1900 in very good original condition. This style is also known as a barristers’ bookcase because they were commonly used in legal offices around the turn of the century. Well made of oak by the Globe-Wernicke Company, known for high quality bookcases, it has a base, 4 bookcase sections with glass and a top section. The sections are graduated in size with 2 sections that are 8 1/4″, one that is 10 1/4″ and one that is 12 1/2″ …of course you are arrange them in any way that you would like. All sections detach from each other for easy transporting. Designed this way so that more sections could be added as needed. The glass fronts lift and slide into the tops. Very well constructed, in great condition, beautiful and very functional too! It looks better in person…lots of glare when these photos were taken.

Fabulous Sideboard circa 1910 with Leaded Glass
Dark quarter sawn oak sideboard with bevelled mirror, leaded glass doors, curved drawer fronts, wooden appliques, curved leg with carved feet etc. This sideboard has all the bells and whistles and is in very, very good original condition with no breaks in the leaded glass. So attractive with lots of wonderful storage too!

Beautiful Mahogany Expandable Console Table Circa 1940
Mahogany expandable console table that is great for how we live today. When closed it is only 21 inches deep but when the top is flipped open it seats four (42″ by 38″) for dinner. It would also make a great buffet table and when not in use it makes a great side table or desk. Wonderful cabriolet legs with Chippendale ball and claw feet, reeded edges, and a false front drawer with original handles, all add to its appeal. So practical, functional and beautiful!
Dimensions: Height 29.5″ when open and 30.5″ when closed with top folded down
Depth is 21″ which becomes the length when extended to 42″. Width is 38″
Marvellous Mahogany Bow Front Sideboard
Antique mahogany sideboard circa 1940 in very good original condition including all the wonderful original drawer handles. This well constructed sideboard has many attractive features of finely crafted furniture including nice moldings, carved wooden appliques (Prince of Wales Feather design) dovetailed drawers and dust shelves. This bow front sideboard has two cupboards below, 3 top drawers and 3 center drawers provide a great deal of storage. This sideboard is beautiful and functional too!
Dimensions: H-36” Length is 62” and Depth varies from 19.5″ to 22.5″

Wonderful Walnut Sideboard c1930
Antique walnut sideboard on Queen Anne legs circa 1930 in very good original condition including all the original Fabulous hardware. It has some of the nicest hardware that we have ever seen! This well constructed sideboard has many attractive features of finely crafted furniture including Queen Anne legs, nice mouldings, dovetailed drawers, etc. Nice backboard with center medallion. Two cupboards, 2 center drawers and one long top drawer provide a great deal of storage. One of the drawers is a sectioned cutlery drawer. This versatile sideboard can be used as a server, TV Stand, bathroom vanity with double sinks.
Dimensions: H-40” but on 1.5″ original casters. These casters can easily be removed to lower the height if so desired. Length is 60” and the depth -23”
Charming and Versatile Washstand c1890 – Great Handles
Antique washstand circa 1890 in very good refinished condition. This well made washstand has a top drawer with fabulous acorn and oak leaf wooden carved handles and oval wooden molding complimented by beautifully styled oval cupboard door fronts. The drawer and cupboard below provide a great deal of attractive storage. This versatile antique can be used in an entrance way, a vanity, as a small dresser or night table, etc

Rare Triple Bowed china Cabinet c 1910 with Original Glass Shelves
Triple bowed china cabinet made of quarter sawn oak with shaped glass shelves circa 1910 in good 100% original condition. Glass shelves are rare and shaped glass shelves are even less common. It has wonderfully carved feet. The interior back has mirrors to show the rear of treasures displayed on the shelves. Very well made.

Marvelous Mahogany Drop Front Desk with Bookcase Upper
Antique drop front desk with bookcase on top circa 1940 in very good original condition. This style is often referred to as a secretary desk. The glass doors open to reveal shelves for displaying books or other treasures. The wooden grill is very attractive. The front of the desk opens to provide a writing surface and reveals an attractive interior with drawers and compartments. Well made of mahogany, this desk has serpentine (double curved) bottom drawers and well carved ball and claw Chippendale feet. Three drawers provide a great deal of storage. This one piece cupboard is lovely and functional too!
Dimensions: Height- 79″ Width 32″ Depth-17.5″ When desk is opened and the writing surface is used, it is 29″ deep
